J.B. Stone (he/they) is a Neurodivergent/Autistic spoken poet, writer, editor, dabbling playwright, and critic from Brooklyn, NY now residing in Buffalo, NY. He is the author of three chapbooks, including his most recent work, Fireflies And Hand Grenades (Bottlecap Press 2022). They’re the Editor-In-Chief/Reviews Editor at Variety Pack and also read for Uncharted Magazine & Split Lip Magazine. Nominated for Best Small Fictions and Best of the Net, his work has appeared or is forthcoming in over 60 print and online publications including; BlazeVOX, Atticus Review, Rain Taxi, The Talon Review, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Chicago Review of Books, Riggwelter, Peach Mag, Glass: A Journal of Poetry, Occulum, Twist-in-Time Magazine, Flash Fiction Magazine, The Buffalo News, Noctua Review, River and South Review, Star*Line, Frontier Poetry, Hex Literary, BULL, HAD (Hobart After Dark), MoonPark Review, X-R-A-Y Literary Magazine, and many more. Their work has also appeared in a number of anthologies such as These Poems Are Not What They Seem – A Tribute to Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (apepublications 2020), Poets to Come: Walt Whitman’s Bicentennial (Local Gems Press 2019); Pact Press: Changing Tides (Pact Press-Regal House Press 2020) among many others as well. On top of this J.B.’s competed, showcased and performed his poetry all over U.S. & Canada, from the president of SUNY Fredonia’s home, to the Silos of Buffalo, NY, to a feature at Art Bar Poetry Series, one of Canada’s longest running poetry series, and most recently represented Buffalo’s only poetry slam team, Pure Ink Poetry in the 31st Annual Southern Fried Poetry Slam Festival for the second time, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is also a teaching artist on a super low key, part time basis with the awesome folks over at Restoration Society Inc., & Accessible Academics.
